Join Changing Worlds for an evening to honor and embrace diversity in Chicago. The 2008 Honorees, Daphnee Rene, (Young Women's Action Team), Alfredo Nambo (Big Picture High School), Antonio Gracias (Valor Equity Partners), Luol Deng (Chicago Bulls) and Samuel Akainyah (Kennedy King College), will be recognized for their many achievements and contributions. The event celebrates the cultural richness of Chicago and serves to enhance cross-cultural understanding by sharing the personal stories and celebrating the accomplishments of these extraordinary individuals.
