Call for art: Vacation @ Peanut Gallery

The summer’s almost over and we desperately want to hold on to it, or at least reminisce. Where did you go? Submit your vacation-themed art to us at peanutgallerychicago@gmail.com by 6pm on Monday September 27 for a group exhibition that will most likely open on Friday, October 8. All artists/non-artists and medias welcome. Thank you ahead of time for your submissions.

The show is about vacation, but not necessarily summer vacation. If your summer was uninspiring don’t feel obligated to make art about it. That’s just a waste of time. But if you have ever been touched or in any way stimulated by any sort of vacation, be it to the Wisconsin Dells or France or a Chevy Chase movie or even some sort of drug-induced utopia, please do make/submit art about it.
