Organization Description:
The Chicago Mosaic School is the first school in America focused on preserving and promoting the medium of Mosaic Art. The Chicago Mosaic School courses explore all approaches in design and construction of fine art and architectural mosaics from beginning through advanced levels of study. Since the school opened in June 2005, students have come from all over the world to attend classes and workshops in Chicago, and build relationships with art schools and universities internationally to fill the void in a premier education in Mosaic Arts. Weekly classes, weekend workshops, free lectures, exhibitions and visiting artist workshop intensives are all part of our program.
