Visual Artist Studio Fulton Arts District

Chicago Sculpture Works, located in Chicago’s Fulton Arts District, facilitates a creative exchange amongst the artists and with the community. Founded by sculptor Jim Brenner, the collective of working artists seeks to support the mechanics of producing art through shared equipment, promotions, and knowledge.

Each member of Chicago Sculpture Works has a private studio plus access to a common work area with tools, and equipment.  Artists are promoted through studio publicity efforts as well as group exhibition opportunities.

Studio Details: The common studio area also features a kitchen, bathroom, laundry, wireless Internet access, a computer and a phone. There are also tools available to artists including: welding table, mig welder, two drill presses, vertical band saw, horizontal band saw, a radial arm saw, table saw, a stationary belt sander, turret punch, fork lift, screw press, portable foundry, and hand tools.
