Chicago Art Department West is seeking artists to join their communal studio space. Currently there are 5 personal cubicle openings available to artists of any media. Facilities include communal kitchen, bathroom, and lounge space. Street parking is easy and free! The studio is located at Hubbard and Paulina in the West Loop, convenient to downtown, Wicker Park and UK village, easily accessed from the Green line at Ashland or Ashland/Grand bus routes.
 
CAD West is currently finishing construction on screenprinting facilities at this location, which include a large exposure unit and backlit washout sink. Classes will soon be available and resident artists are responsible for providing their own screens, ink, paper and other expendable supplies.
 
As the screenprinting facilities are completed cubicle space will become a hot commodity! So guarantee yourself a spot by joining now! Lease terms are flexible at six or twelve months. Individual cubes are available at $200 a month and are 24 hour access 365 days a year in a clean and secure ground floor loft-style building.
CAD West is a great community of artists, and with membership you gain the opportunity to participate and show in CAD East gallery events in Pilsen. This is a great place to meet a plethora of creative folks for networking and collaboration. Super friendly atmosphere!
