Museum curatorial and education staff and visiting guest scholars present aspects of the museum's collection within the wider context of the history of art.

Follow a museum education lecturer on a spin through the museum or a focused talk on an artist, a style/movement, or titled topic. Gallery talks are offered daily, at 12:00, 1:00, or 2:00 and run between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

The Reader is a free alternative weekly with features on urban issues, politics, arts and culture. It has an extensive guide and weekly listings to the many lectures and readings around town.

Anchor Graphics is a not-for-profit fine art print shop and gallery. Classes, workshops, lectures, and outreach programs are designed to advance the fine art of printmaking by integrating education with the creation of prints.

Non-profit arts presenter and exhibition space with the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Art and Design. Directed by Lorelei Stewart, Gallery 400 presents challenging, proactive and engaging exhibitions, the Voices Lecture series, and artist residencies.
