As part of the Chicago Artist’s Month, Barbara Wakefield will re-introduce Ann Guilford; an alter ego or persona developed by the artist in the winter of 2009. With every series, Ann Guilford creates objects and installations instigating an ongoing dialogue with her audience on her own Twitter and Facebook pages.

Ann Guilford’s “Handkerchief Series” is a collection of personal “hankies” that Barbara Wakefield gathers from friends and family members as part of an interactive project. Wakefield will embroider each handkerchief to capture Ann Guilford’s reactions to stories shared with participants.
