Anatomically Correct, Art in Alternative Spaces

Mission Statement:

Anatomically Correct is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to showcasing work by visual artists in alternative spaces in a combined effort to diversify, educate and promote community awareness of the visual arts.    

Since its inception in 1991, Anatomically Correct has presented over 200 innovative exhibitions, showcasing work by over 1,200 talented visual and performance artists and musicians, reaching a combined audience of over four million.   The exhibitions are free to the public and opening receptions often include performances by poets, musicians and performance artists.   It is through this outreach that artists are exposed to a wider audience and audiences are exposed to work by a greater number of artists.
