Intensive Encaustic (wax painting) workshop

This 6-hour intensive course in encaustic (wax painting) is for artists at all levels.  Learn methods not taught elsewhere that do not require a blow torch.  Work with a variety of wax textures and layering to achieve luminous, translucent surfaces.

 The class is limited to 2 or 3 students so that everybody can have hands-on instruction and time to practice.  Students will leave the class with a finished painting and be fully ready to create their own works.   Dates and times are flexible, and the class can be split into two 3-hour sessions.  $600 includes all materials.
