Artist Residency, Can Serrat, Spain

Visual Arts Residency at Can Serrat International Art Center. Can Serrat is pleased to announce our Full Stipend for artists for the year 2008 -09. The residency is open to artists in all fields regardless of nationality or age.

Applicants are asked to email the following materials to stipend@canserrat.org. Please, don't send applications by mail unless you have to send a video. *There is no official application form.

. Visual documentation of recent work (10 jpg images).
. Cover letter introducing yourself and stating preferred residency months.
. Curriculum Vitae
. A short summary of the project/work planned for the residency period.


- Applications must be received by the 31st of October, 2008. Late applications will not be reviewed. - The selected Artist will be notified in early December, 2008. - The selected Artist will be provided with living/working space and meals for a one month period and the opportunity to give a presentation at the centre. Travel expenses and other incidentals are not covered by the stipend award. - All applicants for the full stipend will automatically also be considered for a support stipend. - Stipends are available to the recipient for one year.
