Skills & Qualifications:
Duties
Responsibilities will commence at the
beginning of the 2009/10 academic year. The successful candidate will
teach visual arts courses in the core curriculum and the visual arts
program. It is expected that she/he will continue a program of
professional engagement (research/creative activities). She/he will
also advise and mentor undergraduates and provide appropriate
professional service.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong interest in
undergraduate education and a specialization in one of the following
studio areas: drawing, illustration, graphic design, or animation.
Knowledge of digital illustration and/or animation software is strongly
desired. Commitment to undergraduate advising/mentoring is essential.
An M.F.A. or Ph.D. and college-level teaching experience are required.
