THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a candidate who will maintain inventory of Resale’s storage spaces and keep all Resale Centers and Media vending machines fully stocked with a variety of specialized art making materials. Receive deliveries of materials for Resale such as lumber, clay, plastics, fabric, neon parts, etc. Make arrangements for and supervise moving crews to receive deliveries and restock the Resale Centers as needed.
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Retail or stockroom/warehouse experience is required. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel are preferred. Experience supervising employees is preferred. Experience working in higher education is preferred. Familiarity with a variety of sculpture materials is helpful. Must be able to perform daily lifting, pushing of a cart, bending and twisting, and walking.
