Clinard Dance Theatre: Jondo Portraits and Unions & Crossings

Friday & Saturday, September 19 & 20, 8pm Sunday, September 21, 7pm $20 Clinard’s dance theatre work is rooted in the art of flamenco, incorporating painting and sculpture to create vignettes intended to awaken our astonishment, questioning, grief, and compassion in this climate of war. “Jondo” is a branch of flamenco; it is slow, heavy, and its lyrics are concerned with death and loss.
