- How to determine your competitive differentiators
- How to use differentiation to get more exposure and raise more funds
Trainer Chris Beebe has extensive non-profit, design, event planning,
corporate
training, sales and fund raising experience. She was selected as one of
six people nationally for the March of Dimes executive management
training program. While with the March of Dimes (Los Angeles Chapter),
Chris was Director of Walk America which raised $1.2 million for the
organization. She also opened the Long Beach, CA office of the
Arthritis Foundation, secured three years of free office space and
built its Board of Directors. While there she was responsible for
developing and administering the budget, developing marketing
materials, coordinating publicity and public speaking opportunities,
spearheading volunteer development and training, and directing
organizational planning and event strategy.
In the for-profit world, Chris utilized her Advertising and Design
degree from the American Academy of Art serving five years as a
packaging and merchandising designer. For the past 12 years, Chris has
focused on business development, account management and driving sales
to Fortune 500 companies. Chris brings to theVisionaryAgency a wide
array of sales and account management experience including: strategic
and consultative selling, Corporate Visions sales messaging, creative
selling techniques, sales presentation skills and training,RFI creation
and delivery, cold calling and plain old pavement pounding.
Trainer Leah Davis Burdick has for 9.5 years served as a marketing
executive
in various capacities at one of the world's largest corporate real
estate firms (annual revenues of $2B). During her tenure, her positions
ranged from Vice President, Director of Marketing for the Project and
Development Services group (with annual revenues of $120M) to Director
of Americas Corporate Marketing to Director of program development,
implementation and management; special event and conference planning;
and corporate training.Her creative agency experience includes tenure as project manager at a
multicultural advertising agency in New York City where her clients included
Disney, American Airlines, General Electric, EDS, Scholastic Books and Qantas Airlines, among others. On the event side she has produced events ranging from professional comedy shows to corporate concerts to business seminars to prestigious dinners for heads of state. She is a graduate of Binghamton University and the University of Salamanca, Spain. For nine years, Leah was a professional comedienne in New York, Los Angeles and the Southwest, and she has taught classes in comedy writing and performance.
