will cover everything you need to know about launching, writing and
publicizing your organization's blog -- from which software to use to
10 tips for better blogging.
Designed for organizations wondering how a blog can help with
publicity, issue advocacy and message management, this session will
address the resources needed and the questions to ask before jumping on
the blog bandwagon.
Participants will also learn the following:
- How to make their voices heard in the growing blogosphere
- How to track what's being discussed in the media and on other blogs using RSS feeds and online tools.
- Numerous handouts will be provided, and a class blog will be available to participants

Trainer
Christine Cupaiuolo is a freelance writer/editor and media consultant
who specializes in developing blogs and online communities for
nonprofit organizations. She has worked with the Arts & Business
Council of Chicago and University of Illinois Extension, among other
groups.
She currently writes
for OurBodiesOurBlog.org, the blog of Our Bodies Ourselves, a
nonprofit, public interest women's health organization, and contributes
