The department of [C]Spaces, The Student Centers and Galleries, is seeking a creative, self-motivated and organized individual to coordinate and install exhibitions within the [C]Spaces’ collective of galleries.

This position requires outstanding organizational and communication skills, the ability to multi-task and troubleshoot within a fast-paced environment and a keen attention to detail within a larger, visual context.

Duties include, but are not limited to, serving as a liaison between staff and curators/artists of all professional levels, creating promotional materials, organizing receptions, designing gallery layouts, installing artwork and supervising student assistants.
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

Qualified candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art, Art History, Museum Studies, Arts Administration or related studies; 3+ years of experience in an arts-related environment; experience with exhibition installation and exhibition management; knowledge of contemporary art; and computer proficiency with knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Supervisory experience and graphic design knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is preferred. A Master's degree is also preferred.
