THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a candidate who will coordinate the flow of information between the Museum Shop and Museum administrative and curatorial offices, vendors, stores and warehouses, as directed by the Director of Divisional Merchandising. Provides coordination of order placement and receipt, and merchandise reporting. Prepares all Merchandise Prep Lists for Holidays, Catalog and Exhibitions. Follows up with vendors for order shipping information and handles vendor inquiries. Maintains and follows up on Incoming and Inactive Shipment Logs. Processes and updates all Licensing Contracts.
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE 2+ years of experience in office or retail environment required. Proficiency in Excel and Word required. Must be detail-oriented with strong math and organizational skills. Ability to work well with others. A background in art history is preferred.
