The Department of Art offers three programs of visual studies leading to the bachelor's degree: the art major, the interdisciplinary communication studies major, and the art education certification program.

The CAF offers many Adult and Youth workshops and tours (both free and paid). They also offer training sessions on architecture for teachers.

First Class is the Chicago Public Schools Alternative Certification Program. The site has many resources on how to qualify and apply to the School Board as a public school teacher.

Marwen offers workshops and programs in visual arts and technology for teachers and other educators interested in including art and art-making in their classroom curriculum.
