Women Artist and Designers Wanted Location: The River Walk Downtown Chicago Women-Eye is looking for women artist to be apart of a summer long event on the River Walk downtown Chicago. Come sell your art and other products and share your story with other women artist. Start date May 25, 2008 – October 1, 2008. You must be a Women-Eye member to partake in this Vendor opportunity. Membership is $100 per year; go to our website www.womeneye.org click on the link River Walk for more details. Registration space is limited to 20 vendors Women-Eye is looking to create the largest thank you card to honor Women Veterans home from the war come be apart of all of this. Women only thank you. Arts Camp 2008
Mondays--Fridays, July 7--August 1

Your children will make art and make friends at our unique summer day camp, where they can develop art-making skills and learn from professional artists in a fun museum setting, and work with an artist on a collaborative project that will be on view in the museum.

Arts Camp is for kids ages 6 to 12 and includes morning, afternoon, or full-day sessions in painting and drawing, mixed media, theater, printmaking, sculpture, and comics. Full-day and afternoon sessions include field trips.

Please join us as we look back fondly and ahead with excitement, presenting our own take on that standard of standards- the summer group show. Summergroup08 showcases the work of several artists who have shown their work at Estudiotres over the past year and a half and introduces the work of some artists that will be featured in future exhibitions. This eclectic mix of work includes that of seasoned veteran artists like Bernard Wideroe, Barry Lorne, and Loretta Bourque as well as that of fresh talent such as Michael Lehman and Davin Youngs.
