| SAFD Actor Combatant Workshop | Event Type: ClassWednesday, October 1, 2008 - 12:00pm - Sunday, March 8, 2009 - 2:00am A rare opportunity to test for SAFD (Society of American Fight Directors) Actor-Combatant status without incurring the expense and hassle of an extended trip out of town. In this intensive workshop, studnets get the hours of experience required for testing while learning safe and effective methods that emphasize acting the fight. Subject matter will include unarmed, rapier and dagger, and knife techniques. Students completing the course will have the opportunity to perform a skills proficiency test fight for an SAFD adjudicator. Class meets twice weekly. more... |
