We are excited to introduce Design Dance's first summer camp for young dancers. This week-long experience will give students the opportunity to experience a multi-faceted dance education and will focus on the core elements of the Design Dance message. Dancers will be encouraged towards a feeling of community between themselves and their peers and grow in their understanding of respect, positive encouragement and self-expression. The camp will conclude with a showcase of the dancers' work for their friends and family. We look fo more...

Inkbombed is an art exhibit by Hugostyle “STEP ONE” which explores graffiti and hip-hop's role in addressing social, racial and economic justice. Since graffiti's earliest forms, globally it has been utilized as a tool for the voiceless and oppressed to express their struggle for social change and draw awareness to issues affecting their communities. Hip-hop's roots in poor inner-city communities are undeniable. Despite the current focus on bling, fame and clubbing, graffiti and hip-hop are still valuable and effective ways to promote progressive social justice movements today. Join us at the opening of Inkbombed as we celebrate the socially conscious side of graffiti and hip-hop. The evening will feature spoken word, art, performances, music, and a panel discussion.
Performers include Segundas Productions, Army of Juan, Misha Ferguson, and Rominna Villaseñor. Also featuring Step One, Eams, Static, About, and more. more...
