API is a national nonprofit organization whose purpose is to encourage accountants to volunteer their time and expertise to nonprofits, small businesses, and individuals who need, but cannot afford, professional accounting services. This work is carried out by a growing network of 22 Affiliates and more than 10,000 volunteers across the country.
