The Art Academy of Cincinnati is a long-established independent college of art and design providing professional degrees and community education programs for fine artists and designers. The Art Academy is enriched by the sharing of resources with the Cincinnati Art Museum and Mary R. Schiff Library.

Art Center College of Design is an internationally recognized school of art and design located in Pasadena, California. An independent, nonprofit, four-year college, Art Center offers the bachelor of fine arts or bachelor of science degree in Advertising, Environmental Design, Film, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Photography, Product Design, and Transportation Design. Graduate programs in fine art, design, and critical theory lead to the master of fine arts, master of science, or master of arts degree.

Individual members include post-secondary faculty in theatre and related fields, graduate students, and theatre and performance artists in universities, commercial venues, and community-based and alternative theatres. Members receive a variety of benefits including subscriptions to publications, reduced rates at the national conference, a listing in the ATHE directory, a members-only e-mail list, and a chance to participate in specific interest groups.
