Performance Workshop with Tim Miller

Event Type:
Workshop
Tuesday, March 16, 2010 - Monday, March 22, 2010
Join Tim Miller and a group of like-minded artists in an intensive week-long workshop exploring the creation of original personal performance. Tim will share a variety of strategies for mining the tremendous energies and stories in our lives and transforming them into theater. Using personal memories and myths as a jumping off point, participants will see how a deep sense of one's own history creates performances that jump out from the body onto the stage. The fierce creativity generated in the workshop will culminate in an ensemble-generated public performance. Please bring your hearts and brains, your hopes and fears.
