Dragoncello Theater is looking for a collaborating team of artists for “The Home Army,” a production being written by Artistic Director Anna Glowacki. This is in its earliest stage of creation and we are looking for a group to contribute to its development....
About The Home Army:
“The Polish Soul is made out of metal. It welds itself back together”
Poland was a fighter, not just a victim.The focus is on real events of the underground Polish partisan movement during World War II. Production will be accompanied by a small choir singing traditional folk partisan songs.
Performance Space: is yet to be determined. We are in initial talks with a few of the Polish cultural centers in Chicago. Performance Dates: TBA, Late Summer 2010.
