With continued attendance and subscriber growth despite the recession, having built the largest theater education and youth outreach program in the area, and with experienced non-profit fundraising professionals on the board, our 501(c)(3) arts organization is now ready for the right development professional who's looking for a great growth opportunity.

Responsible for all fundraising and external relations of the theater. Develop, recommend, administer and evaluate short and long range development programs and budgets, with special concentration on areas that affect financial support, e.g. annual fund in support of operations, major gifts, planned giving programs, grants from corporations and foundations, corporate sponsorships and donor relations. General oversight of two special fund raising events. Annual fundraising goal of $200,000.

Works in close collaboration with artistic director, managing director, and board of trustees

Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 5 years experience in development with proven background in fundraising required. Prior experience in a non-profit arts preferred, with educational background or experience in theatre highly desirable. Additionally, candidate must have personal or professional experience in the Fox Valley region. The position is full time with benefits beginning in January 2010.
