Auditioning for Arnold Wiggins - 20 to 45 A manic, nervous man whose disability hampers his otherwise capable mind. Lucien P. Smith - 35 to 50 An African-American who functions slowly at about a third-grade level, empathetic. Norman Bulansky - 20 to 40 An overweight developmentally disabled man who holds down a job at a doughnut shop. Barry Klemper - 35+ A high-functioning schizophrenic who has been in and out of institutions, resourceful, fragile. Jack - 30 to 45 A wry man who supervises the residents of the group apartment. Sheila - 20 to 40 A high-functioning woman whose mental disabilities don't preclude her falling in love. Mr. Klemper - 50 to 65 A coarse, unshaven, explosive man, Barry's elusive father. Mrs. Fremus* - 35+ A widow who lives next door, motherly. Mrs. Warren* - 35+ A new neighbor, cheerful. Clara* - 35+ A woman with mental challenges. Mr. Hedges* - 35+ A congenial gentleman whose patience only goes so far. Mr. Corbin* - 35+ The movie theater manager, pleasant, caring. Senator Clark* - 35+ A dignified public servant. Rehearses Mon-Thur nights and Sundays afternoon/evenings. Opens Sept 11 and runs 8 shows through Sept 26th. Fri and Sat nights 7:30 shows, Sunday mats at 3pm.
