Promethean Theatre Ensemble is seeking a sound designer with interest and skill in original music composition for their fall production of THE LAST UNICORN, a world premiere stage adaptation of Peter S. Beagle's fantasy novel. In addition to creating sound cues and assembling incidental music, an ideal candidate would be able to set a few songs in the script to music (acoustic guitar). First production meeting: approx. August 8, then weekly or biweekly thereafter. First rehearsal right after Labor Day weekend; load-in and tech begins 10/12, first preview 10/16, opening 10/17 with performances through 11/14 (strike on 11/15). Small stipend.
