NOBLE FOOL THEATRICALS SEEKING EXPERIENCED DIRECTOR FOR YOUTH THEATRE NOBLE FOOL THEATRICALS, a non-profit organization, is expanding our very successful PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY and is seeking an experienced director for our SUMMER 2009 Youth Ensemble production of Steve Martin’s Comedy “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” The Director is paid as an independent contractor, and compensation is commensurate with experience. Work is temporary part-time. TEENS SUMMER STOCK/PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP: Steve Martin’s Comedy “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” Ages: 13 to 18 Rehearsals: June 16 to July 30, 2009 (no rehearsal June 23 and June 25) Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Tech/dress rehearsal: August 3 to August 5 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 5:00-9:00 pm Performances at 7:00 pm (run time 90 minutes): Fridays, August 7 and August 14 Saturdays, August 8 and August 15 This is an amazing opportunity to learn all facets of theatre. Performers in this group will memorize lines and blocking for this full length play performed for the public. Under the guidance of our professional staff, students will be responsible for costumes, makeup and prop pieces as well as working as crew and assistant stage management. Roles will be double cast to allow each student to perform two shows. When not performing, the cast will run crew, help call the show, etc. This workshop is not just for actors, but for tech students also. Performing is not required to participate in this workshop. “Behind-the-scenes only” students are encouraged to enroll. No singing or dancing. Approximately 54 total hours. Skills & Qualifications: 

Candidates must be very reliable and professional. Successful applicants are patient, even-tempered and have experience with and love working with young people (and their parents) in developing their craft. Only Chicago-area residents will be considered.
