Lifeline Theatre has an opening for a Grant Writer, to be hired on a contract basis. LifelineTheatre is a 25-year old not-for-profit theatre company located in Rogers Park, engaged in theatrical production and arts education programming. THE POSITION The primary role of the Grant Writer is to manage the planning and execution of the grant writing process. This includes creating grant funding applications, identifying new possible grant funding opportunities, maintaining a monthly grant pipeline report and generating final reports for grants received. The Grant Writer will work closely with the Managing Director, as well as the Artistic Director and Education Director as needed to determine appropriate content for specific grant proposals.
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree and/or combination of equivalent employment and education experience. Minimum of three years of Grant Writing experience, preferably with experience in writing grants for arts organizations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in relevant computer software (Word, Excel, Online Application software). Very strong time management skills, with the ability to strictly meet all deadlines
