Room For Improvement - Artist live/work space available

NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS is opening its doors to local and itinerant artists-in-residence for the months of July and August, 2008.

Located in Pilsen at 1800 S. Peoria, NH is a spacious and sunny 1400 sq-ft 2nd floor flat.  Accommodations include one bedroom, large kitchen, large common/workspace with 6-person dining/work/meeting table, small library, and small comfortable seating area.  Ample wall & floor space for painting, sculpting, stretching, pacing, and other acts. 

Rent is $600 for the month (negotiable in special cases).   Bedroom furnishings (bed, desk, chair, etc.) can be provided, though are currently unavailable.

Applicants: Must be motivated and productive while also easygoing and understanding. Must be in need of space in which to conceive/create, and will be expected to use the space as such, NOT as a social space. Meetings/rehearsals with collaborators, ensembles, etc. are of course welcome, however NH is NOT A PARTY PALACE! "Room for Improvement" is exactly that: time + space + peace + quiet to work on a creative project.
