Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier is searching for an experienced Draper for the 2008-09 season. This is per show work, dates and productions are as follows: Amadeus beginning of July to first week of September Macbeth end of October to early January 2009 Twelfth Night end of January to beginning of April 2009. Draping skills should include flat patterning, tailoring skills, and period construction. A strong eye for detail is important. The ability to instruct and lead teams of stitchers and work under tight time constraints are a necessity. All work is in house in a fully equipped costume shop with two other Drapers per show.
