Arlington Heights’ 6th Annual Promenade of Art kicks off the Chicago area’s 2008 Summer Art Festival Season Saturday, May 31 – Sunday, June 1 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. in downtown Arlington Heights, Ill, just steps from the Metra station at 121 W. Campbell (intersection of Vail and Campbell) near the Metropolis Performing Arts Center. This free art festival is ranked one of the top 100 art festivals by Sunshine Artist magazine. Hosted by Northwest Community Hospital and the Village of Arlington Heights, the festival features wide range of functional and non-functional art including ceramics, drawing, fiber, glass, jewelry, leather, mixed media, photography (b/w and color), painting (acrylic/mixed media /oil/watercolor), print, sculpture, wood, stone and more. more...
