Insight Arts invites you to attend the grand opening of the CENTER FOR NEW POSSIBILITIES on Saturday, May 17 from 11 AM to 6 PM. Please join us as we celebrate a day full of panels, screenings, live art, visual art, arts & crafts, and poetry.
The CENTER FOR NEW POSSIBILITIES is located on 1505 W Morse Ave. (one block west of the Red Line, Morse stop). The event is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted. Panels will focus on Anti-War / Anti-Recruitment, Labor Rights, and Insight Arts;
Screenings include videos from the 2007 Rural Filmmakers Exchange - a program of Hecho en Encinal, and a video by Segundas Productions;
Live Art by Hugo Garcia, Bree Johnson, Genevieve McCloskey, Kenny Roa, and Ricardo Villalobos; Visual Art Exhibit featuring the artwork of Avital Benshalom, Bree Johnson, Genevieve McCloskey, and Ricardo Villalobos;
Arts & Crafts sale led by Ibeji Senior Arts Project; and more...
