Women Artist and Designers Wanted Location: The River Walk Downtown Chicago Women-Eye is looking for women artist to be apart of a summer long event on the River Walk downtown Chicago. Come sell your art and other products and share your story with other women artist. Start date May 25, 2008 – October 1, 2008. You must be a Women-Eye member to partake in this Vendor opportunity. Membership is $100 per year; go to our website www.womeneye.org click on the link River Walk for more details. Registration space is limited to 20 vendors Women-Eye is looking to create the largest thank you card to honor Women Veterans home from the war come be apart of all of this. Women only thank you. Topic: Sex and Media. Women In Film Chicago hosts this breakfast discussion focusing on the implications of sexual imagery in media and advertising. What effect do advertisements have on women as consumers and how is society being shaped as a result? Who defines what is beautiful and how is this reflected in the world of film and advertising?
