A Humechanical Nightmare

A giant mechanical dream machine pulls one hesitant dreamer deep within its works.
Strange and beautiful movement, live music, all within one ever-shifting dream world.

"If the monsters from a zombie flick and a Stanley Kubrik film had a creepy baby, their kid would be A Humechanical Nightmare."

-Laura Lodewyck, NBC5 Street Team

"It was a mesmerizing act that not even a full force deluge could hope to undermine."

Experimental Instrument Orchestra

Experimental Instrument Orchestra
($8 donation)
Live performance

"This (Kansas City) trio has gained worldwide attention for its members' ability to coax sound from saucepans, pitchforks and washing machines. These three are born dumpster divers - not to mention experts in composing strange, spontaneous, Sigur Ros-like anthems. What's more, they build the instruments for each show on the spot. And if grease has musical properties, these guys'll figure 'em out." -The Pitch, Kansas City more...
