These classes will serve as auditions for Pulcinella, a dance for eight women
and seven men. Originally made for the Paris Opera Ballet,
the dance requires balletic strength and turnout in the legs,
and elegant elasticity of the torso. The roles to be filled
must also match the original "characters"
in body type and demeanor.

Classes are open to non-auditioners as well;
donation appreciated but not required.
Paid rehearsal & performance
Dancers must be available for occasional individual rehearsals from September through December, then for group rehearsals from
Mid January, 2009, leading up to the week of the shows:
February 25, 26, 28, and March 1, 2009.
Pulcinella will be part of the Douglas Dunn & Dancers' performances
produced by the Harkness Dance Center, 92nd Street Y,
at the Alvin Ailey/Citigroup Theater in Manhattan.
Mid January, 2009, leading up to the week of the shows:
February 25, 26, 28, and March 1, 2009.
Pulcinella will be part of the Douglas Dunn & Dancers' performances
