Northlight is creating a unique internship for its production of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde that is currently in rehearsal. The interns who are selected for this internship will appear in the show (as ensemble in crowd scenes, victims, cadavers, etc.) and will also take part in an Arts Administration internship. We are looking for 2 young people, preferably undergrads to attend tech rehearsals starting on September 12, join the company, directed by Jessica Thebus, with previews/performances (generally) Tuesdays through Sundays. http://www.northlight.org/onstage/j_calendar.html appear in the run of the show, which closes October 26. Northlight will provide experiences in Arts Administration (including workshops, meetings with the Artistic Staff, etc.) for these students on the 2-show Wednesdays and at other times (according to their availability). As is true of all of Northlight’s internships, we see this specially and specifically created internship as an opportunity for hands-on learning with professionals in one of Chicagoland’s top theatres.
