THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO is seeking a candidate who will research and maintain relationships with existing Co-op employers, students, faculty and staff. Responsible for assisting with the placement of Co-op students to satisfy the six-credit off-campus requirement for all undergraduate and transfer students. Conduct activities such as classroom and departmental visits, marketing to student organizations and residence halls and email. Assist with the interviewing and hiring of student assistants for the department.

Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE a Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in higher education, Cooperative Education program and/or arts organizations is required. Demonstrated understanding of visual arts is necessary and proven ability to work with students, employers, faculty, staff and alumni. Working knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus, along with excellent time management skills, attention to detail and initiative.
