City of Chicago Small Business Expo

If you are thinking about the business aspects of your art practice -- how to work with your neighborhood civic and community groups, how to fundraise, how to build your audience and more.

Chicago City Treasurer Stephanie Neely invites you to the 7th annual FREE Small Business Expo, on Friday, August 1st from 8:30am-3:30pm.

This years Expo will be held at the NEW U.I.C. Forum, located at Roosevelt and Halsted.

The FREE Expo will feature a free day of networking with over 120 vendors and a full day of free workshops featuring experts on financing,
franchising, marketing, business plan writing, and other topics to help you launch or improve your small business.

Treasurer Neely hopes this year’s Expo will surpass last year’s record crowd. “I have made helping Chicago small businesses owners a
top priority of my Office, and I hope everyone will take advantage of this great day of knowledge sharing and networking”

Those who plan to attend are urged to pre-register to help the Treasurer's Office plan and provide free lunches for the crowd, and to speed by “Day of Registration” lines. Please pre-register at
