Throughout the three-day 51st Gold Coast Art Fair more than half a million visitors will stroll through 11 city blocks in the heart of Chicago's chic cultural neighborhood to indulge their senses in magnificent fine and functional art by more than 350 professional artists from as near as the City and as far as Israel. Visitors can watch artist Jonas Gerard paint to music, catch live sculpture demonstrations by the Fine Art Studio of Rotblatt-Amrany see other artists demonstrate their unique talents, or listen to live music ranging from acoustic rock to smooth jazz, or relax with a wine and food tastings courtesy of Chef John Caputo’s and guest chef Ted Allen ("Queer Eye for Straight Guy") Blue Frog Restaurant. In the National City Family Art Tent families can collaborate on a variety of art projects and everyone can express their creativity in Paint-A-Car tent by painting on a real car donated by Fields Auto. Admission to the Festival is free. Plenty of parking is available at adjacent lots.
