Auditions for the world premiere production of The Rotogravure will be held at the Waldorf School, 1300 Loyola Ave, 60626:
Friday, May 9 (7 - 10 pm)
Saturday, May 10 (10 am - 4 pm)
Sunday, May 11 (12 - 4 pm).
Casting:
2 African-American women (20s - 30s)
2 white women (20s - 30s)
2 African-American men (20s - 30s)
2 white men (20s - 30s; 60s - 70s)
All need to be able to sing and move well.
-Sides will be provided at the audtions
-Prepare a song from the Great American Songbook of 16 bars (a pianist will be available to accompany auditions)
-Dress to move

The Rotogravure is a multi-media live theatrical production where the stage world is the full color fantasy life of the characters and the black and white film projections are the real world.
Filming is August 11 - September 2, 2008. Stage rehearsals begin December 15, 2008 with performances January 16 - February 1 at the Athenaeum Theatre.
