*Must be available for Summer Master Classes, Technique Classes and Rehearsals. July 28 to August 15.
Technique Classes: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 to 11:00 Company Rehearsals: Monday, Wednesday, 11:00 to 2:00
Performance Skills Workshops: Fridays, 11:00 to 1:30
All classes are free to company members and rehearsals are paid.
*Regular Season begins September 8 with on going classes and rehearsals Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30 to 2:00.
*Be prepared to perform a short piece, preferably of your own making. Bring resume and your willingness to be part of an ensemble.

Mordine & Company Dance Theater will celebrate its 40th Anniversary in 2008-2009. The season will feature a fall season designed to expand the potential for performance within Chicago’s dance community, a Gala Concert in March 2009 at The Dance Center of Columbia College, Chicago, and the continuation of the Choreographic Mentoring Project for emerging choreographers. Mordine & Company is an ensemble whose focus is dance as theater. The company experiments with and develops material with a strong voice addressing both current and universal subjects. Each dancer plays a seminal role in experimenting and discovering skills and movement vocabulary that define the direction of a work. This requires skills that include improvisation, composition, and performance—skills that subsequently prepare company members to develop their own work as artists and teachers.
