Humanifestoh is an annual festival of the Humanities and Music Department at Harold Washington College. Each year the department chooses a different theme and honors a member of the Chicago artistic community. This year's theme is Creative Genius and they are honoring Fred Anderson, internationally renowned musician and owner of the The Velvet Lounge.
Mr. Anderson will be honored with the award at the college (located at 30 E. Lake St.) in room 1115 (11th floor) on Thursday, April 17 at 2:00pm. The event is free and will begin with a brief interview. This will be followed by a performance by Mr. Anderson and bassist Derick
