A site with some consumer information about purchasing and selling real estate in Chicago.

Chicago Hot Glass Hot Glass offers tools and equipment for glass blowing including furnaces, annealers, glory holes and much, much more. Use of facilities is available on a rental basis.

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative
Printmaking facility providing continued education classes, exhibitions, guest artists, facilities, equipment use and printing services to local artists. They offer workshops and classes for a variety of workshops and techniques.

City Colleges of Chicago
The seven city colleges of Chicago offer a wide variety of resources and facilities through enrollment.

City of Chicago Department of Buildings (DOB)
The Department of Buildings is responsible for the enforcement of the Chicago Building Code.

Contemporary Art Workshop
CAW offers low-cost studio space. A major part of our programming is to provide eighteen spacious, low-cost artist studios. The studios offer an opportunity to exchange aesthetic and technical ideas and the freedom for artists to work in a community of their peers.

CPE Sound
Hourly rehearsal facility for musicians. Large rooms, natural light and access to vintage amps, electric pianos, organs, drums and microphones.

Fire Arts Center of Chicago
Nonprofit school focused on teaching metal sculpture and classical sculpture technique, located in northern Illinois. Offers open studio facilities of enrolled students and alumni.

Fulton Carroll Center
Operated by the Industrial Council of Nearwest Chicago (ICNCs). Provides space and business assistance to over 90 tenants in its 410,000 square foot facility.

Illinois Association of Realtors
Offers a database of real estate professionals.

Illinois Division of Banks and Realtors (OBRE)
Protects and educates the public on matters associated with the banking and real estate industries. In addition, OBRE oversees the regulation and licensure of State chartered banks and many other agencies.

Lillstreet Art Center
Adult classes in clay, jewelry, and fine art. Also offers an artist in residency program, and exhibition opportunities.

Midwest Clay Guild
Co-op facility for ceramic artists. Near Dempster El stop.

Near Northwest Arts Council (NNWAC)
Provides studio space for rent as well as exhibition and performance space.

The Acme artists community is a live/work condo program and also provides rental studio space.

Dedicated to building the Chicago Arts District as an exciting new urban community, offering office, retail, industrial, residential and working studio space for lease.

River East Art Center
Managed by MCL Companies. A large complex of galleries and studios, very upscale, in the East River district.

Riverside Arts Center
Riverside Arts Center offers studio classes, workshops and exhibition opportunities western suburbs.

Switching Station Artists Lofts
Open loft-style rental apartments in a historic building where artists and their families can live and pursue their crafts in a supportive environment. Artists must income-qualify for this affordable housing program developed by Artspace USA.

Terra Incognito
Offers arts classes, workshops, and studio space in Oak Park.
