Listen, watch, and dance as Charlie Universe and the Little Star Music Box play tunes for the living and then (AAAAARGH!!!!) are ATTACKED BY ZOMBIES, turning their music into the eerie sounds of the UNDEAD. The party starts at 9pm, ZOMBIES ATTACK at 10pm, and the evening ends with a ZOMBIE DANCE PARTY to move and groove what's left of your body. $8 for the living. $5 for the undead. If you missed The Brown Paper Box Co.'s performances during its first run, this is the perfect time to come see REEFER MADNESS! THE MUSICAL. Performances are Wednesday, April 20, 2011 @ Studio BE (3110 N. Sheffield Ave.) at 7pm and 9pm. Tickets are $20 for general seating. Ten $40 VIP seats are available, which includes prime central seating and special munchies to enjoy during the performance.

The Brown Paper Box Co. couldn't feel more honored to remount REEFER MADNESS! THE MUSICAL at Studio BE. We had a blast during our initial sold-out run in October and are thrilled to remount the show in BE's intimate space for a one-night-only fundraiser on 4/20.

Inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name & based on The Brown Paper Box Co's 2010 sold-out hit, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex, and violence. Wrought with punchy musical numbers and biting political commentary, REEFER MADNESS! THE MUSICAL is a hilarious and highly stylized satirical spoof.
