The Old Town School of Folk Music seeks a part-time Volunteer Manager to manage our much-loved volunteers. The Volunteer Manager works with all areas of the School to coordinate volunteer staffing needs.

Primary responsibilities include:

•managing schedules and assignments for approximately 400 volunteers

•managing volunteer incentive point system

•recruitment of new volunteers

•providing volunteer orientation

•maintaining and implementing the volunteer handbook
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate must be organized, able to multitask, and be a team player. Must display a positive, upbeat attitude and have an excellent phone manner and communication skills. Confidence in troubleshooting and problem solving are vital. Strong computer skills required. Supervisory experience and/or project management experience desired, but not required. Spanish ability preferred and some concert experience a plus.

Must be available weekends and evenings. This position offers approximately 20 - 24 hours per week.
