Young Natives Is an open jam session for Chicago area student jazz musicians from grammar school to college, @ Sikia Restaurant on the campus of Kenedy King College 740 weat 63rd street on the third Friday of the month from 5:pm to 8:pm.

This month's performance features  the Ravivia Jazz Scholars under the direction of Chicago jazz icon; pianist, Mr. Willie Pickens

The admission is free, the music is great, and the food and folks are wonderful. We welocome general public and musicians alike.

Mission Statement
The mission of Urban Aspirations is to assist in facilitating the aspirations
of Chicago’s urban artists through partnerships with the Chicago Park District,
City Colleges of Chicago, private and corporate organizations that allow aspiring
artists to create, develop, enhance, and promote their music within
the urban community and environment.
