NOBLE FOOL THEATRICALS SEEKING EXPERIENCED MUSIC DIRECTOR FOR YOUTH ENSEMBLE THEATRE NOBLE FOOL THEATRICALS, a non-profit organization, is expanding our very successful PERFORMING ARTS ACADEMY and is seeking a Music Director for our Summer 2010 Youth Ensemble show “Wizard Of Oz.” The Music Director is paid as an independent contractor, and compensation is competitive within the industry. Work is temporary part-time. Auditions: Sunday, May 2 from 2:00-6:00 pm and Monday, May 3 from 4:00-7:00 pm Rehearsals: May 26-July 14, 2010 (No rehearsals 5/30, 5/31, 6/21, 6/24 and 6/27) Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm Tech/Dress Rehearsal: July 18-July 22 Daily 5:00-9:00 pm For more information, go to www.noblefool.org/education.
Qualifications and Application Requirements

Skills & Qualifications: 

This position requires the ability to sight read, play piano and provide voice direction during rehearsals. The Music Director serves as the accompanist at auditions, and does not play during performances as tracks are used. Candidates must be very reliable and professional. Successful applicants are patient, even-tempered and have experience with and love working with young people ages 8 to 19 developing their craft.
