The Multi-Media Intern will work under the supervision of the resident Master Electrician, Sound Engineer and Assistant Sound Designer to realize the multi-media aspects of our Spring 2010 production of ‘Trust’. Candidates with a basic background in multi-media, electrics, sound design or sound engineering are preferred. Responsibilities will include assisting with load-in, hang and focus, tech notes, maintenance of equipment during the run of the productions, and strike. Additionally the Multi- Media Intern will train and sub on the sound, electrics, and video systems during the run of productions.

Specific Duties Include:
• Serve on load-in and strike crews. • Assist with electrics, video and/or sound notes during tech and previews. • Maintenance of equipment during the run of the show. • Train on the systems as a substitute operator. • Additional projects as assigned.

Internships are unpaid; but scheduling is flexible, Interns receive complimentary tickets to all Lookingglass productions (as well as industry offers when available) and academic credit (if available through College/University). This internship will begin mid-February, and end mid May (with the possibility of an extension if interested).
